DNA Aerosol Metal FlakeZ combines genuine metallic FlakeZ with a transparent intercoat carrier, allowing your chosen basecoat colour to remain visible while adding a brilliant layer of reflective sparkle over the surface.

Available in a range of colours and flake sizes including 50µm (50 micron) and 100µm (100 micron), the effect can be tailored from a finer, more refined shimmer through to a bold traditional metal-flake finish with maximum visual impact.

Because the carrier is clear, the final appearance is influenced by the colour underneath, giving you enormous freedom to create different looks simply by changing your basecoat. Apply a light coat for a subtle scattered sparkle, or build additional coats for greater flake density, depth and dramatic custom-paint POP & BLING.

DNA Aerosol Metal FlakeZ makes it easy to add a genuine custom metal-flake effect using the convenience of an aerosol can.

Unlike a conventional opaque metallic paint, the Metal FlakeZ are suspended in a clear intercoat carrier. This allows your chosen basecoat colour to remain visible underneath while the metallic flakes sit over the surface, reflecting light and creating the depth, sparkle and movement associated with high-end custom paintwork.

The final effect can change dramatically depending on the colour underneath.

Spray Metal FlakeZ over black for a deep, dramatic appearance, over a complementary colour to intensify the effect, or experiment with contrasting base colours to create something completely unique.

Build the effect to suit your project

A light application can introduce a subtle scatter of metallic sparkle, while additional coats build greater flake density and visual impact.

This gives you excellent control over the final look, whether you want a refined metallic highlight or a bold custom finish with serious POP & BLING.

Selected colours are available in different flake sizes.

50µm (50 micron) Metal FlakeZ provide a finer, more refined sparkle with a smoother and more subtle appearance.

100µm (100 micron) Metal FlakeZ create a larger, more obvious flake effect with stronger sparkle and a more traditional custom metal-flake look.

The difference in flake size gives you another way to fine-tune the final appearance of your project.

Clear intercoat carrier

Rather than covering the basecoat, it allows the underlying colour to continue influencing the finish. This means the same Metal FlakeZ colour can look very different depending on what it is sprayed over.
