Cut. Polish. Protect. The Normfest Cut & Polish Kit combines three professional products to take automotive paintwork from defect correction through to the final deep-gloss finish.

The system starts with Scratch Cut to tackle heavier scratches and oxidation. Next, Scratch Finish refines the surface, removes finer imperfections and creates a high-gloss, hologram-free finish. Finally, Speed Gloss Nano adds depth and gloss while sealing and protecting the freshly polished paintwork.

Step 1 – Scratch Cut

High-Performance Cutting Compound – 500g

Scratch Cut is the heavy-cutting first stage of the Normfest 2-step polishing system. Its high-performance abrasive action removes scratches, severe oxidation and paint defects from clearcoat and painted surfaces.

Choose the pad to suit the paint and level of correction:

• Lambswool polishing pad – recommended for numerous, deep or severe scratches where maximum cutting action is required.
• White cutting/polishing foam pad – recommended for medium scratches or heavily oxidised paintwork.
• Orange medium polishing foam pad – recommended for particularly soft or fresh paintwork where a less aggressive combination is required.

Apply a small amount of Scratch Cut and spread it evenly with the polishing pad. Work the surface with medium pressure until the defects have been removed. Then reduce the pressure as the desired finish develops. Remove remaining polish residue with a soft, clean microfibre cloth.

Step 2 – Scratch Finish

High-Gloss Anti-Hologram Finishing Polish – 500g

Scratch Finish is the refining stage of the Normfest polishing system. It removes light scratches, sanding or polishing marks and minor surface imperfections while developing an extremely high-gloss, hologram-free finish.

Choose the finishing pad to suit the paint:

• Orange medium polishing foam pad – recommended for hard and medium-hard paint where some additional correction is required.
• Black soft or waffle finishing foam pad – recommended for softer paint and final high-gloss finishing.

Spread Scratch Finish evenly with the selected polishing pad. Polish the surface and gradually reduce pressure as the finish clears. Continue without pressure for the final refining stage. Then remove any remaining residue with a clean, soft microfibre cloth.

Scratch Finish can also be used on its own where the paintwork only has light scratches, holograms or minor imperfections and does not require the heavier correction of Scratch Cut.

Step 3 – Speed Gloss Nano

High-Gloss Rapid Paint Sealant – 1 Litre

Complete the process with Speed Gloss Nano. This high-quality rapid sealant contains carnauba wax and enhances freshly corrected paintwork with a deep, high-gloss finish while sealing and protecting the surface.

Application: Shake well before use. Apply a thin, even layer to clean paintwork with an applicator sponge. Allow the product to flash for a few seconds, then buff evenly with a clean, soft microfibre cloth to reveal the finished gloss.

Rather than trying to remove every defect with a single polish, the Normfest system allows you to progressively correct and refine the paint surface.

1. CUT – Scratch Cut
Correct deeper scratches, oxidation and heavier paint defects using the appropriate lambswool or foam polishing pad.

2. POLISH – Scratch Finish
Refine the corrected surface, remove fine marks and holograms, and develop a high-gloss finish with medium or soft finishing foam.

3. PROTECT – Speed Gloss Nano
Apply with an applicator sponge and finish with a soft microfibre cloth to enhance the gloss and seal the completed paintwork.
