Diamond Clear™ — premium high solids 2K clear

Give your paintwork the depth and gloss it deserves. DNA® Diamond Clear™ is a premium high solids 2K clearcoat for automotive refinishing, custom painting and show-quality results. It is equally at home on a street-driven vehicle, a motorcycle, a restoration or a standout custom project.

Diamond Clear brings clarity and depth to the colour beneath it. Its excellent levelling helps create a smooth, glass-like finish, while UV and chemical resistance provide protection for the finished paintwork. Use it over properly prepared DNA® BaZecoatZ™, Candy ColorZ™ and other compatible special effects.

A clear you can reach for again and again

Whether you are finishing a solid colour or showing off layers of pearl, candy or colour-shifting effects, Diamond Clear gives the job a rich, high-gloss finish. Its blend-in properties also make it a practical choice across a wide range of refinishing and custom applications.

For more demanding custom work, its high solids build gives you the option to bury metal flakes or graphics. Experienced painters can then prepare the cured surface for a final flow coat to achieve an exceptionally smooth finish.

Diamond Clear Kit

Each kit includes Diamond Clear, DNA™ FX Hardener and DNA™ FX Reducer. Select the kit size and hardener/reducer speed that suit your project and spraying conditions. A mixing cup and blue 2:1 mixing stick are available as optional extras.

Mixing ratio: 2 parts Diamond Clear to 1 part FX Hardener, plus 10–20% FX Reducer. Mix the hardener into the clear thoroughly before adding reducer. Always follow the current technical data sheet for application, flash times, curing and any subsequent flow coat.
